These terms apply when you use this website or the Purisify app, or book a cleaning with Purisify (“Purisify“, “we”). By creating an account or making a booking you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy and Damage & Claims Policy.
Your account
Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for bookings made through your account. You must be 18 or older to book.
Bookings and prices
A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us. Prices are based on the details you provide and are shown before you book; HST is added where it applies. If the space is significantly different from what was described, we will tell you the new price before we start, and you may decline.
Some services are priced after we review your request. We confirm the price with you before the work is done.
Access to the property
Make sure our cleaners can enter at the agreed time and have running water and electricity. If we cannot get in, the booking is treated as a late cancellation.
Changing or cancelling
Changes, cancellations, fees and refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Payment
You can pay by cash, Interac e-Transfer or card, as offered when you book. Unless a deposit or prepayment is requested when you book, payment is due when the cleaning is completed. You receive a receipt in the app and by email.
Satisfaction guarantee
If you are not happy with an area we cleaned, tell us within 24 hours and we will come back and re-clean it at no charge.
Damage and claims
Please secure valuables and tell us about fragile items before the visit. How to report damage and what is covered is explained in our Damage & Claims Policy.
Our cleaners
Cleanings are carried out by cleaners approved by Purisify. While you use our service and for 6 months afterwards, please do not arrange cleaning directly with a cleaner you met through Purisify.
A safe place to work
Please keep pets secured if needed and tell us about anything that could be a hazard. Our cleaners may decline or stop work where conditions are unsafe.
Using the website and app
Do not misuse the service: no false bookings, no attempts to access accounts or data that are not yours, no interference with how the service works. We may suspend accounts that do.
Our responsibility
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total responsibility for a booking is limited to the amount covered by our insurance for that claim or, where insurance does not apply, the price of the booking. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page. Changes do not affect bookings already confirmed.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
